Morning Sweep

In an interview with the New York Sun, Majority Leader Joe Bruno criticizes Governor Spitzer’s support for equal treatment of all New York families, saying Governor Spitzer “is so far up there on the liberal left … starting with gay marriage.”

The Blade reports that one or more of the three college students murdered in Newark in August may have been gay and that Garden State Equality has called for the authorities to investigate whether the murders were hate crimes.
